Lol: Giving you Jinx’s gun is possible, yes… But at what price!

When you’re a die-hard League of Legends fan, it’s sometimes hard to fight off a shopping spree when you visit the game’s official merch (or merchandise) page. you are difficult, you will find an article to your liking. Beyond its own products, the studio partners with major brands to offer exclusive collaborations (like with Louis Vuitton for the wealthiest among us, or the most modest but not necessarily successful with H&M).

This time, Riot Games is teaming up with Nerf — the famous toy brand specializing in toy weapons — to release a replica of Poiscaille, Jinx’s rocket launcher.

A faithful replica… but expensive!

As you can see in the video (crazy like Jinx) below or the images below, the replica is quite faithful and should charm fans of the champion. Unfortunately — but not surprisingly — the Nerf version of Poiscaille does not fire explosives: it has an 18-dart drum, which it fires in groups of three through an articulated jaw that opens and closes at will.

The big problem, you probably suspect, is its price. It will cost you the trifle of 170 dollars eachwhich, according to Hasbro’s website, makes it the most expensive Nerf gun on the market, well ahead of the Star Wars: The Mandalorian blaster (around $130).

Also, this price does not include additional projectiles, so it comes with only a charge, a Jinx-inspired display stand, and “superior packaging” (for collectors who will never open the box).

You can already pre-order it on the brand’s official website (pre-orders open until January 3, 2023), for first deliveries which will not arrive before… December 2023.

On December 8, the Game Awards ceremony will be held and the full list of nominees was unveiled last night. On the side of the Best adaptation of a video game, we find without great surprise Arcane, the series inspired by League of Legends, which will have to rub shoulders with very heavy.
