LoL: Investigator and point, the ultra KC masters of Twitter

The European Masters (three-time back-to-back-to-back champion) aren’t the only personal garden in the Karmine Corp.. Twitter is another playground on which the structure of Kameto and Prime enjoys, thanks to their many fans. The most passionate among them, sometimes in the extreme, are labeled as Ultras and they have been putting on demonstrations of force lately. Last week they pulled off two that shocked the french twittersphere but also international. For those who don’t have the reference, it’s time to come back to the “point theory” and “the invasion of investigators“.

Before going into details, remember that these crowd movements occur in a very specific context. We still don’t know if the Karmine Corp. will join the LEC for the 2023 season. LEC Wooloo is blowing hot and cold and the tension is palpable within the French community. Each small declaration can ignite the canvas and the ultras of the KC have succeeded in reclaiming the situation to their advantage to show Europe and the whole world that they must be counted on.

The invasion of the investigators

Yesterday, your Twitter news feed had to undergo a invasion of spy emoji, which actually represented a investigator. Almost everyone has changed their profile picture, using the emoji or customizing it. Kameto obviously participated but it was not necessarily him who launched the movement and on the networks, ultras claimed the initiative. In any case, the movement has gone viral, since it has affected the entire French community before also reaching the international community, even invading spheres that have nothing to do with esports and League of Legends. Hats off, Investigators. (Edit: it seems that at the head of the investigators it was necessary to salute V1XT, Deadzach and K(C)evin).

Difficult to pronounce with precision on the motives and the reasons for the movement. We imagine that this obviously refers to the potential redemption of the slot from Astralis in LEC. The Karmine Corp is in full negotiation and every day, Kameto, Wooloo or Paul Arrival are riddled with questions and DMs. The “investigators” try to glean information by all means and the spy emoji perfectly illustrated the immense expectation that exists around the negotiations. But if we push the delirium a little further, according to some theories, the initiative was also intended to change the atmosphere, after the enormous shitstorm Ocelote. In times of drama, when we can no longer define who is who, it helps to gather and reunite the community.

The point theory

This point theory dates from September 15 and even if it had made a little less noise, the bang remains impressive. It all started from the rumor mill, LEC Wooloo. This is not an ultra from the Karmine Corp, but its meteoric rise on the networks has been greatly fueled by the mad popularity of the Blue Wall. The sheep regales fans with leaks and has repeatedly openly displayed his closeness to K Corp supporters. And while he tweeted a simple “.”, the ultras took over this simplistic message by making theories, more or less perched, to explain that the Karmine had finally finalized the negotiations for the LEC slot.

With hindsight, we now know that there was not much to put in their mouths. But the strike force of the KC ultras is always more powerful and after reclaiming the “.”, this one by dint of being copied and shared has gone around the world, pushing accounts like fnatic or personalities like caedrel to join the movement. We don’t see other communities that could have done better.

esport-lol

The League of Legends scene reacted strongly following the oddity of Ocelote, the boss of G2 Esports. Caught in a drama that he caused on his own, he suffered the wrath of the esports scene which united against him. To keep a good figure, excuses and sanctions have arrived.
