LoL: Is the release of the Udyr revamp imminent?

Riot Games didn’t introduce much new to League of Legends in the first few months of Season 12, but the developer has been able to overwhelm players over the past few months. The big damage update was quickly joined by Bel’Veth, and Nilah just made her debut in Summoner’s Rift. However, it is not yet time to rest. One of the Riot Games employees has confirmed that the Udyr rework will be available soon, as per the developer’s initial predictions.

A long-awaited revamp

The Udyr rework might not be the most anticipated in terms of the number of players waiting for its release, but it certainly is in terms of timing. The developer announced the champion revamp over a year and a half ago, after the community voted for it in a poll. Without ever committing to a delivery time, Riot Games had a much harder time fitting their skins than usual due to the champion’s four forms and the fact that this is the first character receiving a rework to have an ultimate skin.. However, the wait will soon come to an end.

Udyr’s multiple forms gave Riot Games a lot of trouble

Ryan Mireles, former League of Legends Champions Manager and now Gameplay Manager, will continue in his role as Season 12 Releases Manager. He took the opportunity to answer a user’s question on Reddit. “Hey, sorry to pull the worms out of you, and sorry because you’ve answered a thousand times, but could you tell us what month Udyr was released?”, asked one user. What the rioter answered “SOON(tm)”in short, very soon.

The truth is that the devs had already committed to an imminent release and Ryan Mireles’ comments seem to confirm what he said a few months ago when he said that Bel’Veth, Nilah and the redesign of Udyr would arrive in a very condensed form. In this sense, we can hope to discover the Guardian of the Spirits in patch 12.15, or even 12.16.

Source

Like every slightly complex game, League of Legends has mechanics that are not clearly explained. Although this one is not useful for all players, because it only concerns a specific archetype of champions, it may allow you to optimize your damage.
