While patch 12.13 arrived last night on League of Legends – including the brand new champion Nilah and the update of Sivir – Riot Games took the opportunity to reveal the cosmetics that will arrive with the next cycle, on 12.14. And as much to tell you that you will not be out of place since they are part of the continuity of patch 12.13. Indeed, a new batch of Star Guardian themed skins will be arriving very soon in Summoner’s Rift.
A major event
The Star Guardian family of skins first appeared with Star Guardian Lux in 2015. The skin met with some success, to the point where the Lady of Light was joined by new Star Guardians in 2016 but also in 2017. In November 2018, a new series of skins on the Guardians of the Stars… in pajamas was born, and finally, in 2019, we are treated to the fallen versions of the Guardians of the Stars (Zoe, Rakan and Xayah).
After those of patch 12.13, 5 new skins will arrive on League of Legends. The champions chosen are: Star Guardian Quinn, Akali, Rell, and Taliyah, Prestige Star Guardian Syndra (the base skin was released in 2017), and Star Enemy Morgana.
One thing is certain now, the Star Guardians event will last at least 1 month and will run from July 15 until patch 12.14, or even beyond. You can of course fall for one of the many new skins of the theme but also throw yourself into crazy games thanks to the temporary game mode Ultimate Grimoire, which will make its big return to the client before the end of the week.
