Are western skins the goose that lays the golden egg at Riot Games? Perhaps. One thing is certain, this theme is very popular with League of Legends players. While five new skins from this family will arrive in Summoner’s Rift with patch 12.9, the studio is doing it again with the 12.10 cycle. Four new skins have already been unveiled!
Not so well hidden skins
In the splasharts of the skins that will arrive with patch 12.9, we could notice a lot of more or less obvious details. For example, we could clearly see Tahm Kench on Leona’s.
Viktor appeared on a poster and the train could be assumed to refer to Zion’s ultimate. Riot Games has already changed the look of its R – Unstoppable Assault on other occasions and generally makes these types of changes in the western cosmetic line. All of these clues turned out to be true.
Another point that left little suspense, the lines of dialogue for the new skins (those of patch 12.9). In these, champions refer to Twitch, Samira, Viktor, Sion, and Tahm Kench. Apart from Samira, all appearances of the other champions have been confirmed – but Riot Games may have a surprise for us for the latter.
These four new skins will hit the PBE for two weeks of testing and will arrive in the store with patch 12.10, which is scheduled for May 25thn according to the official Riot Games schedule.
