The North American team played its game to win serenely. We would have liked to see a little more revolt among the Lions. But the players never found enough space to express themselves.
The totally crazy summer of Nisqy will therefore stop there. For his return to “NA”, he will therefore not see New York. Voted MVP of the LEC in the Summer Split after a spring spent on the Fnatic bench, he had a huge opportunity to show off. Unfortunately, he was rather transparent during this high-stakes match. It’s hard to know what happened within the team during this Bo5, but we never felt the players were able to react. They suffered continuously without ever succeeding in raising their heads. It’s deserved for a player of his caliber.
A 2nd elimination at the Play-In
It’s here 2nd time that a European team fails to qualify from the Play-In at Worlds. The story is cruel, given that the first failure is to be attributed to… MAD Lions!
