LoL – Patch 12.10: Four major summoner spells affected by nerfs

We are slowly but surely approaching the halfway point of League of Legends Season 12, whether in our soloqs or on the pro scene with the start of MSI.

However, Riot wants to completely change the way we see the game and has planned huge changes with patch 12.10 coming to live servers on May 25th. This patch will also be an opportunity to discover the new champion, the famous Void jungler named Bel’Veth – an announcement concerning him should also be imminent.

And adjustments, there will be some and not just a few. More than 80 champions, 30 objects and runes in shambles will be impacted, and this, in a rather negative way. Riot’s goal is the same, overall damage reduction. But these will not be the only elements affected by this great upheaval, there will be others which certainly have less impact on the meta, but which are still very important for all champions: summoner spells.

Four summoner spells hit

The spells that will suffer the most from these nerfs are “Punishment” or “Barrier” since the healing granted by the first and the shield granted by the second have been reduced. On the other hand, “Heal” and “Ignite” will receive a power reduction that will make them weaker at higher levels of the game. However, spells such as “Teleport” or “Purge” will remain unchanged and will work exactly as the same way as now. Without further ado, here are all the changes to these spells in LoL patch 12.10:

Punishment

Using Smite against a medium/large monster heals you for 90 → 90 HP (+10% → 7.5% of your max HP)

Care

Reduced healing: 90-345 (based on level) → 80-318 (based on level)

Barrier

Shield value decreased: 115-455 (based on level) → 105-411 (based on level)

Kindling

Bleeding reduced: 60% → 50%

We finally have new information on the next champion of League of Legends! Bel’Veth’s abilities have been leaked by the community, and now we know all the details about Riot Games’ 160th MOBA Champion.
