LoL: Soon an ADC without range similar to Yasuo?

We already know that the identity of the next new League of Legends champion will soon be revealed. In fact, we even know his name will likely be Bel’Veth, and he’ll be a new Void jungler. Nevertheless, we don’t have much information about the next champion that will arrive in Riot Games’ MOBA. Or at least we didn’t until now.

Content creator Ryscu has just uploaded a video on his YouTube channel in which he claims to know who this new new champion will be, or rather this champion, for whom we will have to wait a few more weeks. And it looks like it will be a very particular type of ADC, as there aren’t many of them in League of Legends.

A “water” type Yasuo

“It’s going to be a melee ADC and it’s going to be something like a ‘Water Yasuo.’ will have 3 different activations, and each activation will slightly change its hitbox”, explains Ryscu in his video.

About this new champion, he also says the following: “He will probably play the same way as a Yasuo ADC, but will be a champion who is really meant to be played that way” . Of course, at the end of the video, he comments that these are leaks and that everything is subject to possible last minute changes.

And Riot Games’ roadmap?

In this year’s champion blueprint, released a few months ago, Riot Games barely shared a few sentences about this champion. This is normal, because characters like Renata Glasc or the next Nether jungler had not yet been released. What is interesting is that these official remarks agree with what we have seen (the photo above) and heard from the mouth of Reav3 : “Here’s a little teaser for a new, mysterious non-traditional bot lane champion coming out later this year.”

The image is very particular and seems to represent a whirlpool – which could therefore refer to water – whirlwind intertwining what appear to be hands.

If we stop at the literal words of Reav3 in English — who will whip out this year – we can assume that this is an index. Riot Games likes to leave these kinds of little hints when teasing champions. For Vex, the studio had made a pun with the word “vexing” (vexing in English). By using the word Whip (whip in French) to speak of the exit of the champion, one can imagine that the rioteur refers to the weapon of the champion, which could therefore be a whip or something like that. so this could well be his weapon. Though that implies he has a little more range than you would expect from a Yasuo-like champion.

Mastery points are a quest that many League of Legends players spend time on. Toucan Céleste has also embarked on the adventure, but in a rather particular way: dislocate beginners, FF at 15, and start again ad infinitum.
