LoL: The 3 monsters with more than 2,000 kills in LCK

League of Legends players love stats. In some, it is even sickly and they look at the figures after each game, to compare and evaluate their performance. It must be said that for the best of them, these figures can serve as CVs and business cards. In Korea, 3 monsters have succeeded in passing the bar of 2,000 LCK kills. That says a lot about their skill and their longevity!

Who are the 3 players with over 2,000 kills?

  • Lee”Faker“Sang-hyeok: The figure of T1 is obviously at the top of the rankings. Even if the midlane has for some years been a position a little less highlighted than the position of ADC, we cannot really compete with the longevity of the triple world champion, he has been playing for the pros since 2013. At 26, he is gradually getting closer to the end, but for fun and for the numbers, we hope he will stay on the pitch as much as possible. that with 10 South Korean championship titles, he had plenty of opportunities to play extra matches to collect bonus kills!
  • Kim”Defense” Hyuk-kyu: is also an iconic player on the scene. He started at the same time as Faker and will also be 26 this year. If nearly 500 kills separate him from the GOAT, the ADC figures are when even impressive… given that he played for 2 years in LPL with EDG. Despite this small exile, he managed to amass elimination after elimination. His record is much less rich than that of Faker, but it should be noted that managed to participate in the Worlds with 5 different teams!
  • Park”Ruler” Jae-hyuk: is the last player to be invited to this very select LCK club. He also plays ADC and is a regular in the LCK playoffs. If he managed to win once the Worlds with Samsung Galaxy, however, we note that he has never managed to win the LCK, so far, he has indeed collected the places of honor.

Who are next?

Next on the list should be Park”Teddy“Jin-seong. At 24, he’s not that far off. In the event of a big performance in Summer 2022, he might break the 2,000 kill mark. If not, he can patiently wait until 2023. Chovy and ShowMaker still have a long way to go (1351 and 1211 kills), but they are respectively 21 and 22. If they stay on top, they should gradually get closer to their glorious elders.

On the other hand, in the current top 15, several players will never reach the 2,000 kill mark in LCK. Many are retired Sangyoon (1191), Smeb (1340), Score (1509), bang (1679) or even PraY (1685). A player like Peanut is also very far with 1301 kills. But his performance remains remarkable for a jungler.

Yesterday was LFL day, in Boulogne Billancourt. This special day was very important for many teams. While some have managed to get what they wanted, others find themselves as the last week approaches.
