LoL: The coordination of these players on Lilia is incredible!

In the course of our daily lives, we sometimes find ourselves confronted with situations that seem scripted. PHowever, the sequence shown in this video is indeed performed by two humans who do not know each other, and will probably never meet, but who for a few seconds found themselves on the same wavelength. Amid the salt of SoloQ and the unbearable suspense of official competitions, this kind of action reminds us that League of Legends remains above all a simple video game, whose primary goal is to provoke this type of sensation.

The context

A seasoned eye will no doubt have noticed that it is not possible for a player to have the same character as a teammate in a normal game, so it is in the One for All mode that this could have happened. For those who are not League of Legends fans, this is a mode where all players on the same team play the same character, while those on the opposing team also play a single champion. This is why the two players each had control of Lillia. After hitting their Sweet Lullaby ultimate, they were able to pounce on their opponents and finish them off with Warning, Sorry (W) and Flower Strike (A). The two opposing Ezreals disappear from Summoner’s Rift simultaneously, and will avoid bad jokes about Bambi’s mom in the near future.

Nevertheless, it must be recognized that if the coordination of the two Lillias is exceptional, it was made possible by the similar reactions of their two adversaries. The latter having both moved back on a parallel axis, they were perfectly aligned for this sequence. The coordination of the attackers is certainly perfect, but that of the two defenders also deserves to be saluted. As any good superhero needs an excellent nemesis, an action can only become legendary if the two adversaries are of equal value.

Towards new horizons

In the video, one of the authors of the action is enthusiastic about his success, welcoming his stunt with his teammate. And finally, there is a good chance that a lot of players have a similar memory of an action that at one time or another made them feel like a Faker. To go further, just look at some fighting games. In addition to the classic competition, it is not uncommon for publishers to highlight community clips, showing unexpected comebacks, masterful actions or unexpected situations. It’s a safe bet that there would probably be something to do on this side of League of Legends.

However, this kind of initiative existed when the game was launched, with the Summoners Showcase, which each week highlighted the achievements of the community. Dubstep, musical parody, new songs dedicated to the world of LoL, drawings, but also incredible actions, were offered to the community. This initiative eventually died out, giving way to current in-game announcements, more focused on current events around him, and the competition. But sometimes, we secretly regret it…

esport-lol

G2 Esports is surely today the biggest esports club in Europe. On League of Legends, in any case, there is no longer any real debate and the Samurai have a track record that is unmatched by the competition. Ocelote even claims that his team has been crowned “world champion”…
