LoL: the French in LCS, the perfect start for Hans Sama

While the recovery was difficult for the tricolors of the LEC, Hans sama and Team Liquid managed a faultless, collecting three wins in as many games. Everything was not so simple for Toucouille, whose team lost against the winners of the previous split, but also against Immortals, yet red lantern in the spring. Have the two players been up to it during this first week? Zoom on their respective performances.

Scoring scale out of 10:

  • 0: played Yuumi jungle (why dude, why??)
  • 1: Human Ward
  • 2: Poor performance, unworthy of an LCS player
  • 3-4: Below expected level / made big mistakes
  • 5: Average / alternated between excellent and mediocre
  • 6-7: Solid on his support, the player was one of the driving forces of the collective
  • 8-9: Not content with outclassing his direct opponent(s), the player has had the luxury of making crazy moves
  • 9.5: 1v9 god, with moves at 200 IQ
  • 10: If perfection had a name, it would have its own
  • 11: 1v9 god, moves at 200 IQ while playing Yuumi jungle

Too perfect a start for Hans?

6 dead, 4 towers lost, as well as 4 dragons. That’s all Team Liquid left for their opponents in three games. The first meeting against Immortals was a real lesson, where Team Liquid players succeeded in inflicting a perfect game on their opponents, ie a game where they lost nothing. Hans inflicted a real lesson on his opponents, with a gala Lucian. Whether on the lane, during a skirmish, or in a teamfight, the Frenchman was flawless from start to finish. Nevertheless we must not hide the performance of Bwipo on Olaf, who was in our opinion, the MVP of this first game. Hans confirmed his form by destroying Dignitas in the second match. Not content to succeed with CoreJJ in recovering the 5 plates before the 14 minutes of play, he inflicted a total of 38.4% of his team’s damage in this part. The lineup didn’t specifically revolve around him, which makes this performance all the more impressive. The C9s made no mistake about it, and tried to put him in trouble in the third game. If Hans’ KDA was less good in this game, he still managed to inflict 34.6% of the damage of the team. This performance is of course easier to achieve on Ezreal thanks to his poke, but that does not prevent it from being praised.

Toucouille between genius and clowny.

If the statistics of Hans are impressive, they remain less good than those of the first game of Toucouille. The former Gamers Origin dealt 43.2% of his team’s damage with Azir, despite the game not even lasting 30 minutes. The second match was more complicated for the tricolor team. While the Flyquest seemed to have the game in hand, and began their second nashor, Toucouille remained on the other side of the pit, being caught by the opposing team. He managed to get away with using his Flash, but this prevented him from being able to position himself well for the teamfight that followed, in addition to having to use his ultimate to survive, instead of hindering the opponents, or picking -up one of the carries. This allowed the Immortals to win the fight, then the game. He is not the only one to bear the responsibility for the defeat, (Aphromoo had to use his stopwatch following a bad positioning a few seconds before), but if Toucouille had stayed with his allies, the result could have been very different.

The last game was even worse. Certainly the EGs were better, but Toucouille still missed out on his game. He only participated in 30% of his team’s kills, while he was playing Ahri, a champion who still has a spell kit allowing her to shift, and/or follow an opposing shift. Only Aphromoo’s Yuumi inflicted less damage than him in this game. There are days without for everyone, and there is no doubt that the midlaner will be able to bounce back in the weeks to come. The coming week will still be difficult, with matches against CLG and Team Liquid, two teams at 3-0.

lfl-lol

There were none in the spring of 2022, but superweek is back in LFL this week. We will have the right to high-level League of Legends with a plethora of matches. To avoid indigestion, we have selected the 5 that we are most hyped about.
