There are several types of dragon in LoL depending on the element associated with them. When your team kills a drake, it recovers a bonus related to the type of monster. This guide discusses in more detail what makes the hextech dragon buff, different from other drakes as well as the effect of his soul.
Hextech Dragon Features
attack speed
When your team kills the drake hextech, she gets attack speed as well as skill haste. Each dragon gives 9% of the relevant stats, for a maximum of 36% with four dragons stacked. It is one of the most interesting drakes in the Rift. It both increases the team’s overall DPS with attack speed, and speeds up all of your teammates’ kits.
Hextech Soul
Hextech Soul is arguably the one that differs the most from its original buff. Dealing damage with basic attacks or skills strikes your enemies with lightning, dealing true damage and applying a slow for 2 seconds. The base slow value is 45% for melee champions and 35% for ranged champions. The effect is also cumulative between different team members and takes longer to leave when it hits characters from a distance in addition to increasing with AD, AP or HP. Since it is a lightning effect, it can hit up to three targets when they are close.
Hextech Rift
From the third dragon in the game, the map, especially the jungle, changes depending on the element of the latter. The hextech version of the map differs from the others by the presence of portals allowing to quickly move from the bases to the jungle, but also from one jungle to another.
