LoL: The incredible escape of a Maokai pursued by the entire opposing team

On League of Legends, you always feel a little proud when you pull off a great move like a steal, a Pentakill or even a well-calibrated escape. All these moves are not the easiest to perform, but when you do, you have enough to bulge your chest. It’s not something that can happen to us every game, even if we hope internally to constantly release our best moves.

And that’s what our player of the day did by making an incredible escape, all while crossing enemy territory.

Catch Me If You Can !

Our summoner, who was playing Maokai support, flips his bot lane and quickly gets surrounded by the enemy team at river level, enemy team that had just secured a drake. And we can say that his opponents are not going to go with dead hands. At the very beginning, Master Yi – who was two levels higher – launched himself at him with his ultimate, then was pushed back, giving our player time to flash to get as far away from him as possible. Neither one nor two, the opposing Jhin also launches his ultimate, somewhat hasty, since the Maokai manages to extricate himself from his reach thanks to an explosive plant. He then goes between the two opposing enemy turrets, takes a short walk in the opposing jungle on the red side, to finally get out of this perilous situation by activating the explosive pine cone located on the other side of the Nashor enclosure.

We will appreciate the little move of the opposing Darius who understands well at the end that the chase is useless.

What is beautiful in this escape is that the Maokai did not panic. He managed to dodge spells, like those of the Sylas, but above all to use the resources available to him in the enemy jungle to drive his opponents crazy.

Like what, a chase is not necessarily a good idea. Here, the opposing team wasted huge amount of resources for a negative result. Negative because they almost all lost time for nothing, leaving their opponents free to farm quietly. We don’t know if he won the game, but we hope his mates will have welcomed his move!

Shapeshifters were Riot Games’ favorite champions for a while, but they’ve now fallen into oblivion. The situation has gone so far that a League of Legends developer has explained why these characters are no longer being created and what their big problems are.
