LoL: The most hated character in the game uses a book he can’t read

Many League of Legends players have a list of champions they hate the most and always try to ban in ranked play. We can notably find Yasuo, Teemo, Zed or Morgana in this list of characters unloved by the community. But today, it’s time to talk about an animal, which always has a book on it and which makes devastation in the Fagne, in particular by accompanying Sivir on the bot lane.

If you haven’t guessed from the clues we’ve given, the champion we’re talking about is Yuumi. The support that always ‘clings’ to another champion has a book that always accompanies it. According to the character’s lore, when its owner mysteriously disappeared, Yuumi became the guardian of the Grimoire — a grimoire allowing to create portals between the different places of Runeterra.

The book is self-sufficient and Yuumi doesn’t know how to interpret it

The book contains the text necessary to produce magic, but since he has what could be called “a conscience of his own”, Yuumi does not even need to be able to read and write to do anything, because the book is sufficient unto itself. This is partly due to the fact that the feline could not decipher the magic in the book and decided to call it a grimoire. From there, she realized she could understand thoughts captured on paper.

To finish with this mini lesson of information and traditions, Yuumi and Grimoire became very close friends, because they had in common the love they felt for Norra. Yuumi continues to search everywhere for the owner of the book, hoping that one day they can find each other.

Coming back to reality and the current world, the conclusion of this short story is that what we should really hate isn’t the character, but the book itself. It is the book that gives Yuumi all the powers and performs all the abilities that make her considered by many to be one of the champions who should be eliminated by Riot Games.
