LoL: The new script used by cheaters that allows you to kill enemies instantly

League of Legends is a game where cheaters have no place. Even if you’ve been playing the game for years, you’re unlikely to find a player you can accuse of using scripts to gain unfair advantages in games. However, every now and then vile cheaters find a security hole that they can temporarily exploit. A situation that has just occurred and which allows these individuals to eliminate any enemy simply by approaching them.

The new script that endangers League of Legends

Due to a minor Riot Games bug, players were able to develop a program that makes Rek’Sai the strongest champion in history, allowing him to knock enemies down to 99% health bar by one shot. It’s practically like killing any opponent with a glance — and this works on both opposing champions and neutral targets. This way, cheaters can get absurd amounts of damage and ruin games beyond description.

While the video above showing the script and its effects in action is enough to scare any gamer, we shouldn’t be worried for very long. League of Legends developers usually fix these security bugs surprisingly quickly, and it’s easy to spot players who have abused them. Its effects are extremely visible in games and players who abuse it are generally reported en masse by their opponents but also by their mates. Ranked games should therefore not be in jeopardy until Riot Games fixes the problem.

It’s not just a bug either. Like Vandiril clarified on his Youtube channel after sharing the clip, to abuse this glitch, you must use a third-party program, scripting software – which we remember, is totally prohibited by Riot Games. The penalty for this kind of misdeed is simple: a permanent (and deserved) banishment.

This isn’t the first time players have managed to breach League of Legends’ security systems. Sometimes they managed to do this by abusing some weird interactions by getting 500 kills in one game with Poppy, and sometimes they had to resort to external programs. Unfortunately, no game can completely escape cheaters, and even if the number of cheaters on the title of Riot is extremely low, there is always the risk of crossing one.

Unfortunately, we have all or almost all been AFK once during one of our League of Legends games – or at least faced with this phenomenon. But which are the champions who are absent the most?
