LoL: The Star Guardians event is back


League of Legends, LoL Wild Rift, Legends of Runeterra, Nilah, ADC, Riot Games

Along with a brand new member, the Star Guardians return to Summoner’s Rift for the rest of the summer across LoL, Wild Rift, and LoR.

The fourth generation of Star Guardians is coming to League of Legends, Wild Rift, and Legends of Runeterra. This universe inspired by the Japanese “Magical Girls” returns with a dozen new skins for different champions including two legendary ones.

This time, Riot Games has put the small dishes in the big ones featuring a new song performed by Porter Robinson. titled “Everything Goes On“, the title immerses us in the universe of the Guardians of the Stars and deals with mourning and friendship.

Among this year’s goalkeepers are Nilah, the brand new champion of LoL whose spells have been detailed previously. The event is also accompanied by new derivative products as well asa new music album. Regarding new features planned for the three games set in the Runeterra universehere is a small list:

League of Legends


  • Champion Launch: Nilah, Joy Incarnate (ADC)

  • Skins: Akali (Legendary), Kai’Sa (Legendary), Ekko, Sona, Taliyah, Quinn, Nilah, and Rell Star Guardian; Morgana and Fiddlesticks enemies of the stars; Ekko and Syndra Prestige Star Guardian

  • LoL (and TFT) Star Guardian Event Pass, Return of Ultimate Grimoire Game Mode, New Emotes, Chromas, and Beacons.

  • In-Client Narrative Experience – Star Guardian: Another Sky (LoL Exclusive):

  • Through games of LoL and TFT, players will progress through a compelling story of love and loss, forgiveness and friendship through the eyes of an all-new team led by Akali and Kai’Sa. At the same time, by completing in-game Champion Missions, they will strengthen their “bond” with the various Guardians, unlocking rewards and discovering new stories along the way.


League of Legends: Wild Rift


  • Skins: Orianna, Seraphine, Ahri, Senna, Xayah, Rakan, and Miss Fortune Star Guardian; Repentant Star Guardian Rakan and Xayah

  • WR Star Guardian Event Pass

  • New in-client narrative experience (WR exclusive)

  • Players will witness first-hand Xayah’s journey to save Rakan with the help of new Star Guardians. They’ll level up their team and pets through a series of missions, face chaos monsters in battle, and follow the fearless Guardians as they learn to forgive and start new friendships.


Legends of Runeterra


  • Skins: Gwen, Kai’Sa, Jinx, Senna, Quinn, Taliyah, Lulu, Soraka Star Guardians

  • Additionally, Star Guardian Kai’Sa will make an appearance as LoR’s first legendary skin, featuring exclusive card art, new voice acting, and a unique level up animation.

  • Guardians: Star Guardian Dragon and Gwen Doll

  • Board: Legendary Starboard Board

  • New emotes and card backs
