LoL: Two new Koreans expected in LFL?

The transfer window in LEC seems more or less already closed. On the other hand, there are still many gray areas concerning the LFL. It’s a bit logical: the structures of the European elite generally have the priority and the favors of the players. They benefit from better exposure and can also offer higher salaries.

But the influence of the French league should not be underestimated. Two Korean talents could indeed land for 2023 according to Wooloo. It would not be a first, we have already seen Rangjun at work at Mirage Elyandra, it would however remain a small event. The information is however to be taken with tweezers: the two Koreans would be recruited by BK ROGwhich has not yet formalized its presence in LFL following a possible takeover of the slot of Team Oplon.

Howling, 4 LCK games under his belt

The first player is Jeon”Howling” Ho-bin. This toplaner has played 4 LCK games this year with Liiv Sandbox, where he notably released 2 Tryndamere. However, he did not really have any success, since he suffered 4 defeats. As a reminder, the team belonged to the bottom of the ranking and finished 9th this year with 4 wins for 14 losses.

Howling has in the past mainly played in the academy team (LCK CL) for rather uneven results. It is difficult to judge his level of play, especially since he is only 19 years old… Crack or future flop, we will have to wait before knowing more.

Trigger, a T1 academy prospect

Kim”trigger” Eui-joo is a little older (22 years old) and can above all boast of being a player from the T1 academy, where a certain number of Berserker. This ADC also has several major league appearances under his belt:

  • 19 games in LCK with SeolHaeOne Prince
  • 20 games in LPL with Victory 5

In both cases, he was subscribed to the bottom of the ranking. But it remains a valuable experience that commands a minimum of respect… We cannot compare the level of these two Asian leagues with the LFL and it could well work miracles in France.

esport-lol

A new drama appeared on League of Legends with a feeling of deja vu… the ADC Upset was still at the heart of the debates with the profile of the ideal culprit. But looks can be deceiving, and the community as a whole hasn’t handled the situation very well.
