LoL Universe: Riot Forge productions are all pushed back to 2023

During the summer of 2021, the studio RiotForgeresponsible for designing spin-off titles in the League of Legends universe, had unveiled two new games in addition to Ruined King and Hextech Mayhem (already released): the adventure game Song of Nunu and the highly anticipated CONV/RGENCE platformer. Two titles that were to arrive before the end of 2022 according to the first predictions, and which allowed to have a very complete set of games “League of Legends Story” in all forms: Rhythm, Adventure, Strategy, Platform… while waiting for the fight and the MMORPG in the main franchise published by Riot (very short).

But on the side of Riot Forge, which deals with the alternative series, the bad news is in order. In a press release published on October 24, the studio announces that the two ongoing titles are now set to somewhere in 2023, without further details. Same shift for the new-gen version of Ruined Kingwhich is due to arrive on PS5 and Xbox Series.

We know you’ve all been patiently waiting for news of our upcoming titles CONV/RGENCE and Song of Nunu. Although we are very excited about the progress of these two games, we need a little more time to put some final touches. For now, both games are scheduled for release in 2023, and we’ll let you know when we’re ready.

The next-gen version of Ruined King is also in development and will be ready in 2023. Current PS4 or Xbox One owners will be able to upgrade their copy for free.

We will therefore have to wait to discover the two new titles parallel to the League of Legends universe. In the meantime, Ruined King: A League of Legends Story and Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story are available on Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, GOG.com and the Epic Games Store, PS4 and Xbox One.
