Following their victory in the Worlds final, DRX players had the opportunity to reveal the champions who should receive a skin next year.
Every year it’s a subject that comes up on the table when a team wins the League of Legends Worlds. This year is no exception to the rule and following their exceptional career and their surprise victory, they are DRX players who will have the opportunity to choose the champions who will receive a skin bearing their image. They can choose any champion, with only one condition, that of taking a champion they played during the competition.
In fact, during the post-match press conference, the players were asked about the champions they will choose and here are their answers:
- Kingen: Aatrox
- Pyosik: Kindred
- Zeka: Akali
- Deft: Caitlyn
- BeryL: Ashe
These are interesting choices sincenone of them already have a skin in the colors of a crowned world champion team. Also note that the DRX replacement jungler, Lee “Juhan” Ju-han will also have the opportunity to receive a skin but he was not present at the conference so we don’t really know his choice. Obviously, for the moment everything remains provisional because Zeka revealed to hesitate between Akali and Sylas while BeryL may well change his choice as well.
