LoL: When Riot Games rewards an ARAM addict

The introduction of Challenges to League of Legends has allowed players to show off their personal achievement across many aspects of the game, not just Summoner’s Rift. Historically, some members of the community struggle to set records, sometimes impressive, but also sometimes absurd. Fastest game, number of kill records, etc., there are plenty of them. And sometimes Riot Games rewards said players for their exploits.

For example, when a player is about to reach a thousand wins in Summoner’s Rift, a Riot Games employee can play this famous 1000th game with him if he requests it. Something similar happened with a player who reached an astronomical number of games played in ARAM. And as the thing is unusual, Riot Games has decided to reward it.

A unique reward

As he was about to play his 10,000th ARAM game, a player was surprised to find that in front of him were 4 Riot Games employees. Although surprised, he quickly made the correlation between the reward of 1000 wins in Summoner’s Rift and his situation, as he explained on Reddit : “I played my 10,000th game of ARAM, and I played against 4 rioters. I remember years ago, rioters were playing your 1000th game with you. Coincidentally, I was put against a group of four rioters in my 10,000th ARAM game the other night. What are the odds?”

Reaching 10,000 games of ARAM is not easy and that’s probably why the player was noticed by Riot Games, who therefore decided to give him this unexpected little gift. A nice gesture that rewards the love of this summoner for this game mode appreciated by many of us.

It seems to be a much more complicated reward to obtain, since you have to bring together four rioters at a time T and not just one. We can assume that it is also a pure coincidence, but this game was indeed the 10000th of the player – the coincidence would be too good. As some players have stated in the comments, they have been playing the game for a very long time, and have never had the chance to meet a Riot Games employee during their games.

As for the outcome of the game, it was our player who came out on top against the employees of Riot Games, a great way to celebrate his 10,000th ARAM game. It remains to be seen if other members of the community will receive similar rewards in the future.

If there are top third champions in League of Legends, it necessarily implies that others are much worse. The place of worst champion (in terms of ranked winrate) had been occupied for months by the same champion, and the latter finally managed to come back up. A little.
