Friday February 16, the first episodes of the fourth season of “LOL: Who laughs, comes out!” have finally been revealed on Prime Video. The production but also the new members of the cast gave a little nod to Blanche Gardin, who tackled the show.
She hit the headlines last year by criticizing LOL: Who laughs, comes out!… The production gave a little nod to Blanche Gardin in season 4 of the show, the first episodes of which were revealed by Prime Video on Friday February 16. If you have already watched them, you may have noticed that the comedian’s face appears in episode 3. Jérôme Commandeur, who won a “Fifi weapon” granted by Philippe Lacheau, goes to a photo booth, where we can clearly see a poster of Blanche Gardin surrounded by seven dwarves, a reference to Snow White.

“Thanks to Blanche Gardin, we are going to give more agency to associations”
The production is not the only one to have thought of Blanche Gardin… The members of the cast of season 4 talk about the comedian from the first episode of the series. “Thanks to Blanche Gardin, we are going to give more money to associations,” says Carlito during an improvised sketch.
As a reminder, Blanche Gardin denounced last April the “staggering salaries” received by the participants of LOL: Who laughs, comes out!. The comedian explained that she would not participate in the show because she would be very “embarrassed to be paid 200,000 euros for a day’s work, when the charity of her choice would win 50,000 euros, that is- that is to say 4 times less (and only if she wins)”.
Statements which caused reactions from personalities who participated in the game. “Blanche Gardin, if she doesn’t want to do it, that’s her business (…) Me, personally, when my friends who were tilers or bus drivers knew that there was this salary for a day’s work, they told me: ”If you don’t do it, we’ll cut your throat. Do you know how much we earn? You know how we piss ourselves off to earn 2,200 euros per month? You have this chance, so take it'”, Ramzy declared in the columns of Society.
