Leo Mattei returns this Thursday, February 17, 2022 on TF1 from 9:10 p.m. with lots of guests and fans can already expect to discover several new faces. Among them, that of the singer and comedian Lola Dubini. The latter spoke to Parisian to come back to his arrival in the series, and the things that he likes about his character. This is in the skin of Inès Salma that Lola Dubini will appear, and this fiery policewoman has it all. “To have the first female role in a series was a real challenge“explained the young woman before saying that it was when they met on the set of 12 noon shots that Jean-Luc Reichmann offered her a small role in the series Leo Matteia role that seemed tailor-made.
“This character spoke to me right away because we look a lot alike. Its values are in line with what I want to defend to protect children; and I find myself in her fiery temper, her emotionality behind her big mouth when affected by things that resonate with her story“. Because like her character Inès in Léo Mattéi, Lola Dubini also experiences a healthy dose of empathy towards certain characters and their complicated journeys, in particular that of a teenager who commits suicide after being bullied on social media. The singer and actress is aware of the stakes that such intrigues represent, and wishes to educate people on this kind of societal problem.
Lola Dubini was the victim of school bullying
“Me, it is thanks to Youtube that I was able to express what I had experienced when I was the victim of school bullying. Talking about this subject in a series on TF1 is daring, because it allows messages to be sent about what the child feels, about the fact that harassment can also come from adults…” A sensitive subject close to his heart, just like the episode in which it is a question of incest, or the one which will be focused on a narcissistic pervert. Proof that the series worn by Jean-Luc Reichmann is ready to take a close interest in the most difficult subjects. Lola Dubini summarizes: “By seeing certain situations on the screen, it can open the eyes of people whose loved ones endure this, help, free speech“.
