Lollipop Chainsaw is reportedly making a comeback

Among the wacky titles made by Suda51some of you may remember Lollipop Chainsaw, a completely crazy action game in which we played a cheerleader responsible for fighting against a zombie invasion, helped by her chainsaw and the head of her boyfriend, and just her head. A completely wacky pitch (written by director James Gunn) which still made the game quite popular, although not unforgettable. Ten years later, it could be that Lollipop Chainsaw make a comeback.

A remaster on the way?

At least that’s what it says Yoshimi Yasuda, ex-CEO of Kadokawa Games and also producer on the original game. As VGC reports, the interested party founded his own company named Dragami Gamesand he seems to have packed the license with him in his suitcases, as he said on Twitter that ” Lollipop Chainsaw is back at Dragami Games “Indicating then that the license was going to live again in a certain way.

It is still unknown in what form, although a remaster seems to be the most likely, knowing that a sequel without Suda51 would probably not have the same flavor.

Lollipop Chainsaw was released in June 2012 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. We are now waiting to see what Dragami Games has in store for us.
