Action game a little low on the front, but still effective, Lollipop Chainsaw will be entitled to a remastered version. It’s not Grasshopper Manufacture who is in charge of development, but Dragami Games and producer Yoshimi Yasuda. The latter arranged to meet us this week to learn more about the game.
The release date for Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is set for September 25, 2024 in digital format on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. The studios have skipped the PS4 and Xbox One, but computer players will finally be able to discover the title thanks to the version Steam. The game will be dubbed in English and Japanese, obviously with French subtitles. Physical editions are expected during the month of October in the Westyou will have to wait to find out the precise release date, but in Japan and Asia, players will be able to buy boxed PS5 and Switch versions from launch.
Despite Yoshimi Yasuda’s words, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is again presented as a remake, with graphics in Full HDreduced loading times, increased attack speed for the chainsaw, timings of QTY adjustedautomatic aiming for the Chainsaw Blaster and Combo Actions available from the start of the game. Players will also be able to discover the mode RePOP with a totally different artistic direction, chainsaws with unique abilities, 30 costumes for Julietnot forgetting hair dyes, an enlarged bedroom and a mode Time Attack.
