Long-distance train derails: dead and injured after train crash in the USA

An Amtrak long-distance train with 243 passengers on board derailed in the state of Missouri on Monday. The train, traveling from Los Angeles to Chicago, is said to have collided with a local garbage truck at a level crossing in the town of Mendon. After that, several wagons are said to have derailed at a relatively high speed. According to the news channel CNN, there are said to have been several fatalities and at least 50 injured.
