The corona pandemic is a particularly difficult time for children as they cannot visit their relatives or friends. Traveling is also taboo during the lockdown. In order to give a picture of this topic and to set an example, Deutsche Bahn is starting the project: "Quick reunion – Deutsche Bahn lets children's pictures travel".
In a competition, children painted pictures of people they missed in particular and sent greetings to grandma and grandpa, aunts and uncles, cousins, friends and schoolmates. Selected drawings from the project will be on view for three months from mid-April on an ICE4 that will travel across Germany.
"As Deutsche Bahn we connect people of all generations. With the 'Zügiges Wiedersehen' campaign, we want to give children hope that they will be able to visit their grandparents again soon, for example, but also make family members happy by being able to see that their grandchildren are watching they think, "says Stefanie Berk from Deutsche Bahn. The joy of seeing you again increases when you see these touching pictures!
