Loot was in the vehicle – thieves were arrested red-handed in Feldbach

During a search on Friday evening, police officers arrested three suspected Romanian thieves shortly after committing a crime in front of a garden center in Feldbach. The suspects had left stolen garden supplies and children’s bicycles in their van.

On Friday evening, the Feldbach police station was informed that a witness had noticed a suspicious box van with a Romanian license plate on the main square in Feldbach. An immediate investigation was negative, and the search was expanded. There were three Romanians in the vehicle, aged 39, 30 and twelve, who had no registered residence in Austria. The value of the loot is likely to be several hundred euros. The loot came from a recent theft at the garden center; the perpetrators were just about to load the stolen goods. The police also found a stolen stroller and two children’s bicycles (photos). Mother also not reported. The Graz public prosecutor’s office ordered the arrest of the two adult suspects.
