The trial of Lori Loughlin (56, "Full House") and her husband Mossimo Giannulli (57) in the college bribery scandal is coming to an end. Giannulli was sentenced to five months in prison on Friday (August 21). The Massachusetts District Attorney's Office announced on Twitter. In addition, the designer faces two years of surveillance, a fine of $ 250,000 and 250 hours of community service.

The verdict for Lori Loughlin is also expected this Friday. She too already pleaded guilty.

Giannulli has been married to the actress since 1997. Together they have daughters Olivia (20) and Isabella (21), whom they wanted to bring to the renowned University of Southern California with the help of bribes. This makes the couple one of the 55 people charged in the bribery scandal. "Desperate Housewives" star Felicity Huffman (57) was also found guilty in this regard and spent eleven days in prison in October 2019.
