Lorie Pester, why she won’t have a second child: “My partner told me that…”

Lorie Pester’s life has changed completely in August 2020, with the birth of his daughter Nina. The little girl thus came to crystallize her love story with Yann Dernaucourt, whom the singer has been seeing since 2018. If the interpreter of I need Love is today fulfilled by her family life, she however had to go through suffering to get there… The artist, now 41 years old, has indeed experienced great difficulties in designing, because of his endometriosis, as she recalled in Louise Aubery’s InPower podcast, relayed on the website of Tele-Leisure this Tuesday, January 2. The pain was so intense that the mother even had to make the decision not to have a second child, after consulting his companion.

For Nina’s birth, Lorie Pester had recourse to PMA, while experiencing a complicated pregnancy from the first months. “It was horrible, I had hormonal injections, I think I overdosed so it was a roller coaster. One day I burst out laughing, five minutes later I wanted to jump out of the window , I had nausea from morning until evening.”, detailed the one who also distinguished herself in the cinema. Far from being a liberation, her childbirth was synonymous with “pain that has returned but stronger”: “I honestly couldn’t do it anymore!”, she exclaimed, then explaining that she had done a hysterectomy, that is to say a removal of the uterus. My partner told me it was no longer possible, so we talked for a long time about whether we wanted another child. Yann already had a little boy who is 12 years old, so at home, we have a boy and a girl, that’s already good. We still have jobs where we move a little in all directions. And I couldn’t see myself leaving with hormone injections, a new IVF, frankly it’s exhausting.”

It is therefore by mutual agreement with the manager of the singing stars that the actress “made the decision to have surgery”. A passage on the billiards table all the more necessary since Lorie Pester suffered from another pathology of the same ilk as endometriosis, but much less known: “In addition to endometriosis, I had adenomyosis which is the cousin of endometriosis except that it is in the uterus. And there, the only way to remove it is to remove the uterusexplains the interpreter of All alone. “Not an easy decision because even when you talk about it with your partner, that we are sure of ourselves, on the operating table (…) I was still crying. It’s irreversibleunderlined the one who has not suffered any pain since.

Lorie Pester at peace with her decision

This isn’t the first time Lorie Pester has spoken out about her cervix removal. After speaking openly about his endometriosis in his book Things in my lifein October 2018, the singer spoke about her hysterectomy in the documentary series Let’s break the taboobroadcast on RMC Story last September. We talked about it a lot with my partner. It’s a decision that must be made as a couple because it is irreversible. I know I will never be able to have children again.” Nina’s mother first confided. However, the star “don’t regret it at all” his choice : “Already because I have my little doll. If I hadn’t had her, I wouldn’t have made this decision. And then today, It changed my life, I no longer have any pain“, she clarified.
