Lose yourself in the city of Los Santos with a GeoGuessr dedicated to GTA V

You think you know the world of GTA V like your pocket? So GTA V GeoGuesser is probably for you. This site invites you to wander around the fictional city of Los Santos trying to guess in which corner of the map you are.

Built on the foundation of the hugely popular GeoGuessr (which drops you virtually anywhere on the planet and asks you to guess where you are thanks to Google Street View images), this game lets you explore the huge map of GTA V while calling on your old memories to try to situate yourself in the different neighborhoods of the city, strongly inspired by Los Angeles. The world is somewhat pixelated and movements are not always very fluid, but the pleasure of discovering all the little details of this universe is there.

Free and open access

Completely free and open access, GTA GeoGuesser Two clicks loose in the heart of the 50 kmĀ² of city and countryside that make up the State of San Andreas. The game offers several levels of difficulty with the presence of a timer, the possibility of deactivating camera movements, even movements. You can play together to compare everyone’s knowledge of the world created by Rockstar Games.

Designed by Louis Klimek, GTA GeoGuesser has actually been around since August 2021. The developer says they are interested in “artificial intelligence, web automation, and everything that crosses my desk”. In his brief presentation, he specifies that he needs funds to “upgrade” his game and pay for the necessary web hosting and hardware costs. If you would like to donate, head over to the project’s Patreon or PayPal page. A Discord server full of various information on the game is also accessible.
