Available in free-to-play since February 2022, Lost Ark will evolve over the next few months, and even over the next few years, with new content, to extend the experiencewhether in PvE or PvP, so that all players can continue to experience various adventures in Archesia. One of these novelties could be a battle pass. The information comes from a video published by the developers on April 11.
Thus, in addition to the various information shared, mainly on Ordeal season 1, the PvP part, we potentially got a clue about one of the things the devs are working on. As you can see in the screenshot below, an icon is located at the top right of the screen, with the name “Ark Pass”. It could therefore be similar to a battle pass, an element that has become essential for almost all free-to-play productions in recent years, offering players exclusive rewards, depending on their actions in the game.
Of course, even if the developers seem to be working on such a thing, this does not mean that we will welcome the Ark Pass in the more or less near future. Amazon Games and Smilegate can very well backtrack, if they feel that such an addition is not relevant for Lost Ark players. We will know a little more in a few weeks about this battle pass, if it happens.
Lost Ark remains available on PC, through Steam. No console release is currently planned.
