Lost Ark is already a hit in Japan, Korea and Russia, and it finally arrived in the rest of the world last week. Amazon Gamesalready behind New World, was in charge of distributing the MMORPGs of Smilegate In Occidenta major challenge given the hype surrounding the title free-to-play.
Even before its release, Lost Ark was playable for purchasers of a pack Founder, and it had already brought together more than 500,000 players simultaneously. The official launch was expected, and finally, what had to happen happened: the title was launched several hours late and saturated servers, leaving impatient players in more or less long queues for quite a while. And people, there were some patient, SteamDB reveals that Lost Ark has already recorded a peak attendance of 1,325,305 concurrent players. It is the second most played game of all time on Steambehind PUBG: Battlegrounds and its 3.2 million concurrent players, while paying, a record that is not likely to be surpassed anytime soon.
Complicated launch, but successful launch all the same for Lost Ark. The developers are obviously working hard to resolve these issues and announce the creation of a new region of servers, for European players, but separated from Central Europe, with all that implies in terms of functionality between them. No date is given for the launch of this new region, but the developers are already preparing some non-tradeable gifts:
