As we already knew, the Lost Ark August Update is less important than the last ones, since it is essentially an update to bring events and fix problems encountered by players. In terms of novelties, however, we will be able to take advantage of the familiar rancha place where our companions can play and, above all, allow us to collect many rewards.
For the rest, we can raise the shop which hosts a plethora of cosmetics, and the correction of many problems. Everything is to be discovered in the patch notes for the August 24 Lost Ark update, below. Note that server maintenance will take place for 4 hours, starting at 7 am.

Event Guardians
Event Guardians return to Archesia! Discover a different version of Guardian Raids in which you will face three Guardians (solo or in a group) in an arena subject to the balance of harmony. To enter the arena, you will need to have reached combat level 50 and item level 250. Your objective will be to attack the event guardian to make him drop bonuses, which will accumulate up to thrice. The bonuses will grant you a colossal damage increase. Once all three Guardians have been defeated, tokens will drop into a reward chest that you can open once per day per character. You will be able to spend the tokens obtained from an event vendor, who will offer you different rewards to earn each week.
Familiar Ranch
The Pet Ranch is a new part of the Stronghold where pets can play, become more useful companions, and help you earn valuable rewards. The adorable pets are ready to help their noble owners by creating jelly cookies and gaining pet expertise to level up and unlock new abilities.
Pets can become Legendary by reaching maximum Pet Expertise and spending Pet Growth Symbols, which you will get in exchange for Jelly Cookies. Once a pet becomes legendary, various features are unlocked. Legendary pets get a powerful skill (random), and at random intermittent intervals, one of the three effects granted by the skill will be applied to you during battles. There are 6 pet skills that the pet can unlock or exchange randomly.
Maharaka Festival: Flourishing Mokokos
The leaves of the Maharaka tree, which grows in the Maharaka paradise, are said to bring good luck. Collect as many as you can during the Maharaka Festival, and exchange them for valuable rewards! This month, a new activity is added to the Maharaka festival: the flourishing mokokos. Every hour in Maharaka’s Paradise, collect gold when you find blooming mokokos. - Re-enabled express growths previously available in the store. Until September 7, Express Growths will be 25% off. If the account’s highest item level is changed by purchasing Express Growth, the following restrictions will be applied to the account for 72 hours:
- Unable to receive billing mail for gold.
- Unable to send mail with gold attached.
- Unable to send mail with attached objects.
- Unable to send change during a 1:1 exchange.
- Unable to gift an item in a 1:1 trade.
- Inability to buy or save items in the market

- Added a new chain of daily login rewards.
- Gold earned from Una Tokens no longer comes in the form of coins.
Notable bug fixes
- Fixed an issue that prevented new accounts from accessing LA chat.
- Fixed an issue that caused the chat mode indicator to not display the corresponding chat color.
- Fixed an issue that prevented the Suggested Content panel from appearing as a button you could press in the express event menu.
- Fixed an issue that prevented some objects from moving as intended in the “Heart of Tortoyk” dungeon.
- Fixed an issue that caused additional Founder’s Pack skins to be character bound instead of Expedition bound.
- Fixed an issue that caused Infernal Legion raid achievements to not appear in the “Legion Raid” section.
- Fixed an issue that caused an incorrect icon to be displayed for a warrior hairstyle.
- Fixed an issue that caused the speech bubble displayed above an NPC in South Bern to disappear too quickly.
- Fixed an issue that caused the expiration date and time of various items to not display correctly.
- Fixed various localization issues.
