Started last Saturday, April 16 at noon, the event Spring Happy Hour expected to last until an as-yet-unknown weekend in May, likely mid-month. The principle is very simple: just connect to Lost Ark the Saturday and Sunday to claim free rewards.
If a good part of the community is delighted, some embittered players think that the developers should rather try to improve their game than to make these kinds of events. We always come back to the fact that gifts obviously tend to exacerbate passions...
What are the Happy Hour rewards?
By logging in between 12 p.m. on Saturday and 11:59 a.m. on Sundayyou can recover each weekend:
- [Chef-d’œuvre] Master’s Runny Omelet (bound) x3
- Coin Chest of Regulus’ Light x3
- phoenix feather x10
If you reconnect between Sunday 12 p.m. and Monday 11:59 a.m., you will be able to benefit from it a second time in the same weekend.
The most interesting of all these rewards, however, is the Regulus Coin Chests of Light. Each of them contains 100,000 silver coins, so you will be able to get 600,000 silver every weekend for several weeks simply by launching the game.
Since this currency is mainly used for crafting and improving equipment, the event is timely. In effect, a new Guardian Raid is coming to Lost Ark in Mayso you now have the resources to properly prepare for it!
A celebration that lacks involvement?
Even though additional login rewards are always nice and the event is good for the game and the players anyway, part of the community seems dissatisfiedeven almost frustrated.
On one side we have those who think thata real themed party around Spring should have been established. Many MMOs offer seasonal events that immerse the player in the mood of the moment, especially at Halloween or Christmas. During this Easter seasonsome players would have liked to feel the spirit of the party in their game to find additional interest.
Another rather surprising story also sounded: with the very soon release of the Lancière which will be closely followed by that of the Destroyersome people expected an event focused on these specializations, possibly with cosmetics or items related to their abilities.
It is true that Spring Happy Hour is ultimately only a give awayand even if it is nice, it is not immersive, but it is an aspect of the game that many MMO players crave.
