Lost Ark had been awaited for many months by a large community of players. Whether lovers of Diablo, WoW, or the curious who were intrigued by the MMORPG, a multitude of people were waiting for the beginning of February to get their hands on this new experience. And as you might have guessed, especially following the performance of the game, when it was only available in early access, Lost Ark is already a success.
Indeed, despite the problems to join a server, due to overcrowding, no less than a million people connected simultaneously on February 12, allowing Lost Ark to join the very closed circle of titles that have passed this milestone. Only Dota 2, CSGO and PUBG had achieved this performance before him. To be precise, 1,324,761 people were even connected simultaneouslythe second best performer of all time on Steam, behind PUBG.
It’s no surprise to see such stats, given that he’s enjoyed a nice spotlight on Twitch, in addition to the natural appeal of part of the community. Of course, those numbers could, and should, be beaten soon, once everyone can launch Lost Ark without too much trouble. It remains, as a reminder, available in free-to-play, only on Steam.
