Lost Ark is already opening new servers due to congestion issues

Lost Ark comes out this Friday night in free-to-play however, it is already available in early access for players who have agreed to buy one of the Founder’s Packs offered by the game. With all the waiting around the latter, many players have therefore cracked. Lost Ark has also recorded a peak of 507,123 players although it has only been available for a few days, and this, in early access. Because of this massive influx of players, Amazon’s MMO is therefore experiencing difficulties with the management of its serverswhich are congested.

To avoid more problems, Amazon Games has therefore decided implement several strategies. First, new players will be unable to create new characters on servers that have a long queue. However, if you already have a character on one of the busiest servers, you can still create others for your team. According to the developers, this limit should remain in place for the near future, but Amazon Games will let us know if this changes.

What’s more, 15 new servers will also see the light of day before the release of Lost Ark in free-to-play. The NA West data center receives a new serverwhile the NA East and Europe data centers receive 6 new ones. South America receives two new servers.

Amazon also said they would give all players who purchased a Founder’s Pack an exclusive set of items if collected before February 14. Additionally, players who purchased Silver, Gold and Platinum packs will receive additional Royal Crystals. You will be able to collect these rewards on a new server, despite your old gear remaining on the server you picked it up from. Find our test here.
