The roadmap of Lost Ark for the months of April and May has recently been released, and that’s a number of significant additions we’re about to get! New specialization of the martialist and the warrior, new continent and new raids, we will have something to take care of. However until the new content arrives, it would be good to solve some problems sometimes critics currently present in the game.
Gameplay fixes
A number of updates relate to the game directly, and not to abuse or fraud. Three areas of Archésia have thus been modified.
Ripening difficulties
Lots of feedback about lack of refining materials are visible on the networks and on various forums. Amazon Games and Smilegate RPG have therefore taken the problem seriously and have in fact already begun to tackle it. Indeed, since March 24, the Grand Prizethe PvP and the event guardian raids have seen their rewards improve and enriched among other things with refinement materials. The studio is well aware that this will probably not be enough, but the developers prefer solve this problem little by little than completely ruining the gaming experience with an overrated reward level.
Competitive Crucible Season 1
Fashion’s first season Competitive PvP has started and many players are already participating. In order to establish the ranking and the number of places available in each rank, the editors based themselves on their Korean experience. The problem is that the number of players on the new servers is not the same, the amplitude of the rankings is therefore not entirely appropriate. Even if it will probably be necessary to wait for season 2 to have a coherent ladder, two solutions have already been put in place to improve this season 1: New players cwill start at the beginning of the Silver rank and the Master rank will be enlarged in order to accommodate 200 players.
Appearance addition rate
Currently, cosmetics are quite limited. In question, the studio wishes to change its strategy to offer appearances that can be used by all classes. In other regions, skins are linked to a particular class and the type of weapon it carries, there are already a number of them that are not available on our servers. Amazon Games and Smilegate RPG are therefore waiting detailed player feedback to adjust their decisions.
Fraud-related fixes
A system of “trusted” status was implemented in the March 24 patch. Thus, players who have acquired their game via Amazon or Steam, or who have a Steam account in good standing are considered trusted players. Those who do not meet these criteria are subject to a number of limitations:
- daily limit purchases on Steam
- Unable toinitiate exchanges player to player
- Unable tosend gifts in-game or mail with attachments
- Unable toexchange royal crystals for gold
The studio’s observation is that since the implementation of this system, fraud has dropped significantly. The publishers also remind you that you must limit your purchases of Lost Ark products to Steam and Amazon. Purchasing on third-party sites may result in the revocation of your account.
Amazon Games has finally officially unveiled its roadmap for the months of April and May 2022 in Lost Ark. We discover in particular the introduction of two new classes, the Destroyer and the Lance Master, but also new raids, among others!
