2024 - Lost Ark: May 2023 Update with Slayer Class Launched

Amazon Games And Smilegate RPG continue to deal with the Western version of Lost Arktheir Free-to-play MMORPG. This morning, the title welcomed the big update for May 2023, adding in particular there killeradvanced fifth class of the Warriorwho shows us his talents in a short video:

This is obviously not the only novelty of the month, the developers detail the content of this monthly update, here are the important points:

FEATURED

ADVANCED CLASS OF THE KILLER

The slayer is the fifth advanced class of the warrior. It’s a bit of a female version of the berserker. A close-quarters combatant who wreaks havoc on the battlefield with his Greatsword and Fury Mode, this mighty class can outmaneuver any opponent. Successful attacks by the slayer fill her Fury specialty gauge. When it is full, the Fury mode can be engaged. This mode dramatically increases the Slayer’s damage dealt and movement speed, and allows the use of a specialty skill called Ferocity (specific to the Slayer) to deliver powerful slashing and piercing attacks. In Fury mode, lives her. attack rate, movement speed and critical hit rate are greatly increased. (Attack Speed +20%, Movement Speed +20%, Critical Hit Rate +30%). Ferocity lets you perform a quick slash at enemies in front of you to deal damage, then perform a powerful slash, knocking them back for even more damage. This skill is only available in Fury mode, and can be used with the key [Z].

EBONY CUBE

What is hidden behind the seal of the cube? Why did they make this cube? The cube is a secret ruin built by the haal, an ancient race touched by the power of the gods. After the haals disappeared, the cube was invaded by monsters and demons. The cube’s seal has been removed, and its true name revealed: the Ebony Cube. Adventurers are coming together to break the cube ban, will you join them?

Fend off waves of enemies in a new mode that combines Boss Onslaught and The Cube. All rewards from these two activities will also be combined. The satisfaction of finishing the Ebony Cube will be all the greater, in addition to saving you time. There are four distinct ranks: Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Money, Gems, Leap Stones, XP Cards, Battle Engravings, Refining Aid Materials can be earned, and Luck and Mega Luck levels can be randomly encountered with bonus rewards. The Ebony Cube will consist of three levels:

1st Ban: item level 1302+;

2nd Ban: Item Level 1490+;

3rd Ban: Item Level 1540+.

EVENT GUARDIANS

Event Guardians are returning to Archesia! Experience a different take on Guardian Raids, where you’ll battle Guardians (either solo or in a group) in an arena subject to the Balance of Harmony. To enter the arena, you will need to have reached combat level 50 and item level 250. Your objective will be to attack the event guardian to make him drop bonuses, which will accumulate up to thrice. The bonuses will grant you a colossal damage increase. Once all three Guardians have been defeated, tokens will drop into a reward chest that you can open once per day per character. You will be able to spend the tokens obtained from an event vendor, who will offer you different rewards to earn each week.

PROGRESSION EVENTS

With this update, a Punika Express Growth and Hyper Express Plus (II) event will accompany the launch of the Slayer on May 10 and will last until August 9. Although there won’t be a new express story, the existing event can be used with the slayer if you haven’t already assigned a character. It will remain active until June 14. The other events launched in March with the arrival of the artist will continue until their scheduled end date, June 14.

EXPRESS GROWTH OF THE PUNIKA

With this version of the Punika Express Growth, you will receive item level 1340 gear, and unlike past Punika Express Growth events, Berver’s Friendship does not need to be completed to receive what happens. To prevent bots from reaching endgame areas, only players with Trusted status or with a Lost Ark account created before December 14, 2022 will be granted Express Growth. While many players have met the requirements or received Trusted status, those new to Archesia can achieve Trusted status in a variety of ways, and choose the one that works best for them. First, they can enable the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator and arrange for their Steam profile to no longer be a limited user account and have Steam Trusted status. This method does not require any Lost Ark purchase. This trusted status can also be accessed by making a purchase in Lost Ark via Steam or Amazon.

HYPER EXPRESS II EVENT

In the same vein as the Punika’s express growth, you will be able to choose a character with an item level between 1340 and 1460 to participate in the Hyper express plus II event: they will gain refinement materials and reach the item level 1460. The designated character will gain rewards every 15 item levels up to item level 1460 (while having a fixed refinement success rate of +20%), including silver, Refining Materials, Gems, Engravings and more!

Engraving support system

The engraving assistance system is a new feature available with the hyper express plus, allowing you to choose 4 engravings used at level 3 of the event. Here’s how:

After selecting a hyper express plus character, the burn assist button will light up;

Click on this button to open the engraving help page and select the 4 engravings of your choice;

Press the “Enable burn assist” button to start using their effects.

The effects of the engraving aid will also be shown in your character’s profile.

COMPETITIVE ORDALY SEASON 3

The number of Coins of Courage earned last season has been reset to 0.

You can once again earn PvP tier points.

Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Master players will receive special rewards at the end of the season.

Honor rewards purchased in Season 3 will be available until the start of the next Season.

With the start of Season 3, the Crucible Shop has been renewed. The higher you rank, the more items you can trade.

Rank 200 – 31 was previously required to obtain Master rank; you must now have reached rank 100 – 11.

Rank 30 – 1 was previously required to obtain Grandmaster rank; you must now have reached rank 10 – 1.

SHOP UPDATES

The first exclusive oriental skins are coming with a special launch of skins for the advanced slayer class. Learn more about the Artheline’s new “Nightrider” skins tomorrow in a special behind-the-scenes blog post, but you’ll find them featured below until then. With the new cosmetics, more items can be previewed, such as pets and stronghold structures.
