Lost Ark: the June 2023 update with the continent of Elgacia launched on video

NEW CONTINENT: ELGACIA

The demonic invasion has begun in South Bern, and the power of Legion Commanders continues to grow with the opening of Chaos Gates all over the world. With Kazeros’ resurrection imminent due to the dimensional rift, the gates of Elgacia are about to open. Kadan and Nineveh will lead you to this lazenith land. What will happen in the ultimate paradise built by Regulus? On the continent of Elgacia, explore Ereonnor, the City of Lights erected in honor of the gods, the blessed garden of Hestera, as well as the sacred Mount Phylantos to discover the secrets of the lazeniths.

The continent of Elgacia also includes:

• A new field boss, Israfel, with a recommended item level of 1540+;
• Elgacia Adventure Log, which includes a new emote, “Gift”, a new song, “Song of the Lazenith”, and a potion of wisdom;
• itinerant merchant;
• Affinity quests and NPCs;
• New collectibles;
• Titles, achievements, cards and card sets;
• Elgacia jukebox songs;
• Elgacia knowledge transfer.

Speak to Rahel, the Sun Knight, an NPC in Castle Bern to receive the “Paradise of the Dreamless” quest and begin exploring Elgacia. The “Paradise of the Dreamless” quest requires reaching item level 1460 and completing the quest Heaven’s Gate Opens. To travel to Ereonnor, play Song of the Skies once unlocked, while in Archesia. To travel to Nia Village, use the Pillar of Light located near Albion in Ereonnor in Elgacia.

KAYANGE, ABYSS DUNGEON OF THE SANCTUARY OF LIGHT

Abyssal Dungeon accessible after completing the Elgacia Story: Confront the Guardians of Light in the Eternal Cradle of Light. Accessible with a world quest, “Cage Breaking”, after completing the story of Elgacia. History isn’t the only epic experience waiting for you in Elgacia. Also coming is Kayange, the Sanctuary of Light: a 4-player Abyssal Dungeon, which you can reach when you complete the Elgacia story. The Kayange Abyss Dungeon has two modes, Neutral and Hard, and has 4 doors to save your progress.

• To access Neutral Mode, you will need to have reached item level 1540.
• To access Hard Mode, you will need to be at item level 1580.

The higher the difficulty, the better the rewards will be, such as Empyrean of Contemplations which grants the ability to upgrade the Ancient Legion Raid Gear Set bonuses to Tier 3. After completing Portals 2 and 4 of the Cradle of Eternal Light On Hard Mode, players have a chance to obtain two special mounts: Wings of Silence and Forbidden Wings. A new Light-Reflecting Mirror NPC has been added for players to exchange the Trial of Light (a Kayange completion reward) for various rewards like Gems, Chaos Stones, and more. Materials are another key reward that upgrades Ability Gems to Ancient. More information about this new system can be found in “General Updates”.

BALTHOR RAID EVENT

Balthor drank too much beer and is now completely drunk. Calm him down to get special rewards in a new event! Receive an event quest from the Boss of the legendary secret tavern located in each major city. Progress through quests to unlock a ticket for the Balthor Raid Event, which can be completed once per day at the Great Castle Tavern. Transform into a beer and work together with other players to calm Balthor down. The raid starts every day at the following server times:

• 11:00 ;
• 2 p.m.;
• 5:00 p.m.;
• 8:00 p.m.;
• 11:00 p.m.;
• 1h00;
• 3:00 a.m.

Participate to earn Event Tokens which can be spent on various special rewards, such as new Legendary Card Packs (find more information in General Updates) Pheons, Cosmetics, Refining Materials and much more ! Event Tokens can be earned once per day in the event, or by completing Chaos Dungeons or Guardian Raids.

GENERAL UPDATES

TOWER OF DESTINY PART II

The final 25 floors of the Tower of Destiny (26-50) are open. With special first-time completion rewards, such as a new Masterpiece Collectible, Superior Skill Potion, Refining Materials, and more, the Tower of Destiny contains plenty of rewards for those who will be able to meet their challenges. Subsequent characters in a player’s expedition can earn additional completion rewards. Item Level Requirements:

• Floors 26 – 30: 1540+;
• Floors 31 – 35: 1550+;
• Floors 36 – 40: 1560+;
• Floors 41 – 45: 1570+;
• Floors 46 – 50: 1580+.

MOKOKO BONUS

• The mokoko bonus limit has been extended (from 1445), it now ends at 1475.

• Below 1415: Damage inflicted on NPCs +20%, damage received from NPCs decreased by 40%.
• 1415 – 1474: Damage inflicted on NPCs 15%, damage received from NPCs reduced by 30%.

• The mokoko challenge will also extend to 1475.

ABILITY GEM UPGRADES

Added a system that allows players to upgrade Relic Ability Gems to Ancient. Upgrading ability gems increases the vitality of the base effect and the vitality of the size level bonus. The engraving effect does not change and remains the same after improvement. There are 4 tiers, and each tier requires a different player item level and upgrade materials to complete. Materials for upgrading to 4 levels can be earned in the Kayange Abyss Dungeon. However, materials for the fourth level (Book of Judgment) can only be obtained in Kayange on Hard.

• Upgrading to level 1 requires a Spear of Light and Gold.
• Upgrading to level 2 requires a Crystal of Order and gold.
• Upgrading to level 3 requires a Sparkling Orb and gold.
• Upgrading to level 4 (old) requires a Book of Judgment and gold.

Upgrades take place with the Ability Gem Sizing NPC. If all the conditions (level and materials) are met, the improvement can be pushed to a target stage by skipping intermediate stages. The amount of materials required is cumulative. At NPC Reflecting Light Mirror, you can exchange upgrade materials with higher level materials. The conversion rates are:

• Spear of Light x9 converts to Crystal of Order x1;
• Crystal of Order x7 converts to Sparkling Orb x1;
• Sparkling Orb x5 converts to Book of Judgment x1.

GENERAL UPDATES

• New versions of card packs have been added, which include Legendary Abyss card packs. Legendary Card Deck II allows for a selection between the original Legendary Decks or the new Abyss Legendary Decks, which include Demonic Legion Commander cards. The new cards can be obtained through in-game activities and the in-game store.
• The daily login reward track has been updated.
• The Text-to-Speech setting is now automatically enabled when using the In-Game Narration accessibility feature.
• Increased Market/Auction House daily “Add Item” restrictions from 20 to 40 items.
• The Report a Player function has been integrated into the Guestbook list. To report, go to the “Writing status” list in the guestbook and right-click on the name of the character to report.

SHOP UPDATES

Card packs in the in-game store have been updated to include Legendary Abyss card packs. Bask in the archesian sun (or slay some demons) in the new summer swimwear cosmetic collection. New cosmetics are now available, including swimsuits, the Windsurfer mount, and frog pets!

Season 3 of the Ark Pass will launch in a week, on June 21. Check back regularly to learn more and discover a presentation of the cosmetics before the update of the week.

BUGS FIXES

• Fixed an issue causing Fusion Material Chests to appear in the Codex without duplicate recipe information.
• Fixed an issue where the “UTC” label was not displaying for the mail suspension expiration date.
• Fixed an issue where the hilt of the Mercury/Xenon Night Rider sword for the Bloodblade would not change color upon dyeing.
