The launch of Lost Ark created a bit of a buzz. At the same time, it’s hard to say otherwise when the game is peaking at over 1.3 million concurrent players on Steam – the second highest in history. But with so many players, and even more trying to connect, it’s hard to keep everyone happy. This is why Smilegate RPG and Amazon Games will launch new European servers for Lost Ark.
Specifically, it will be a new Europe server region. The game’s infrastructure is such that this is the only way to stably increase its population. On the other hand, no arrival date for these new servers has yet been communicated. And if they should arrive as soon as possible, they won’t solve everything.
Because in addition to the long waiting times that should remain, a new region means new characters. No cross-regional play, or the ability to transfer your Royal Crystal and Silver balances. These new Lost Ark servers will therefore mainly be there for new players, who have not yet created a character.
On the sidelines of this announcement, Smilegate also presented a gift that would be offered to all players to celebrate the launch of the title. Thus, everyone will again in the next few days:
