Very nice start to the month for TLOU fans. Since players can now enjoy free content for The Last of Us Part 2. Pretty good, right?

Fans of The Last Of Us franchise have reason to celebrate, because at the same time Neil Druckman announces plans for a The Last of Us 3 game, players of the second episode on PS5 can enjoy both a documentary completely free behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the title, as well as other completely free content. It’s a festive month of February! To top it off, all this comes with the deployment of a brand new patch.

The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered: nice free content

Thus, players can now take advantage of Patch 1.1.0, which allows them to watch the documentary Grounded II: Making The Last of Us Part 2. In addition, they have access to free content, including skins for the characters Ellie and Abby . This pays homage to the PlayStation, notably with a beautiful t-shirt for Ellie which directly references the PS1 logo. A real pleasure for players, and it will further diversify the appearance of their characters.

For the rest, we find the correction of numerous bugs concerning the gameplay, particularly with regard to combat, but also more general bugs, such as the correction of problems importing saves from the PS4 or a problem which prevented the player to properly change the skin of your weapon. If you have two good hours ahead of you, we can only advise you to watch the documentary on the creation of The Last of Us Part 2. It is a veritable mine of information concerning all aspects of the game, from gameplay to storyline, through the emphasis on characters, music and environments. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore inside Naughty Dog’s studios and get a glimpse of their working environment. Finally, everything is enhanced with numerous interviews which put a face to certain names, thus making the credits even more lively.

It’s quite astonishing how much pressure the developers felt at many stages of development. This demonstrates once again that creating a video game is never an easy task, even more so when it is a AAA of this kind, which is inevitably awaited by many players.
