Nintendo continues to delight fans of The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. No DLC on the horizon just yet, but plenty of freebies for subscribers.
Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is on track to be the best-selling game in franchise history. Its thunderous launch already testified to its success with some 10 million sales recorded worldwide in just three days. A little over three months later, the RPG registers 8 million more sales, approaching slowly and surely the total sales of its elder. If you are one of the conquered, Nintendo still has some nice gifts for you. At least if you are subscribed to Nintendo Switch Online.
New Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Avatars
Three months after its release, many players continue to roam the lands and skies of Hyrule. Creations crazier than each other continue to rain on social networks and if the phenomenon has faded a little in favor of the latest releases, it is not ready to stop. The community is patiently awaiting an announcement of the famous DLC mentioned on the official page of the site, but it will probably be necessary to wait a few more months before Nintendo finally decides to unveil it. In the meantime, the Japanese giant is allowing Zelda TOTK fans who subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online to get their hands on new avatars like the game.
The latest Nintendo Switch hit is in the spotlight for five weeks. On the program, 5 waves which will be deployed every Friday, i.e. from August 3 to September 7. They will portray various Zelda Tears of the Kingdom characters and different peoples. Hostilities begin with the Hylians and Sheikah with avatars of Zelda and Pru’Ha. Each of these icons requires only 10 platinum points. Here is the complete program:
- Wave 1 (from August 3 to 10 at 2:59 a.m.): Zelda and Pru’Ha avatars
- Wave 2 (from August 10 to 17 at 2:59 am): avatars of Babil and Teba
- Set 3 (from August 17 to 24 at 2:59 a.m.): avatars of Sidon and Yona
- Wave 4 (August 24 to 31 at 2:59 a.m.): Ganondorf and Riju avatars
- Wave 5 (August 31 to September 7 at 2:59 a.m.): Avatars of Yunobo and Masked Yunobo
