“I was never really interested in Eurovision”, replies Pierre Garnier. Before adding: “Slimane’s song is really great, I love it and it works very well. I wish him success! (…) It’s true that Eurovision is not something I think about. I have a lot of other things to do before that.” It must be said that for the moment, Pierre Garnier has not even had time to recover from his victory in the star Academy that he had to go on tour straight away.

And the tour is far from being easy since the young artists must ensure 75 dates until July! But this high-tension work doesn’t stop the candidates from having fun during their tour. “Every date, we say to ourselves that the spectators couldn’t be more excited, and they are at the next performance. They are very receptive. They sing the songs, they are fully into it”, confided Héléna.

And the candidates are especially delighted to be together away from the cameras! “It’s even better, because we know that there are no cameras filming us, and we can therefore say what we want”, Helena explained. Before adding: “We were always ourselves at the castle, but sometimes we held back from saying stupid things. Here, we are freewheeling.”
