Of course, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is no longer the latest device in the Galaxy series and the Galaxy S24 Ultra with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is quite attractive. Nevertheless, Samsung has not written off the older devices. In the future you will get at least some Galaxy AI functions and general system updates. There is currently a white Galaxy S22 Ultra with 512 gigabytes of memory in very good condition on eBay for 610 euros.
In the test we praised the stylish design and the large display. With 5G, you should still be able to do something with your cell phone in the near future. However, if you like performance, you should look elsewhere. Although there should be no reason to complain in everyday life even after two years, the Galaxy S22 Ultra still lagged behind other models in benchmarks at the time of testing.
In our case, the phone had 11 hours and 30 minutes of battery life. Unless you happen to be running a benchmark or doing other energy-intensive things, it should last longer. Please note that the cell phone you buy here can only have 80 percent battery left. The camera is fine and the night mode takes decent pictures, but we would have liked a little more.
