A job that has nothing to do with music. If today Louane Emera is a singer, musician and actress, she revealed on Sunday October 8, 2023 that she had not always wanted to do that. In the morning ofEurope 1she confided in her youthful desires. “She is frank, she is spontaneous and it is always a pleasure to meet her”: It was with these words that Julia Vignali introduced her guest. And Louane demonstrated her frankness by revealing the first job she wanted to pursue. While it was with her acting hat that she came to promote Marie-Line and her judgea film by Jean-Pierre Améris, she quickly confided to the journalist that she had been attracted by a totally different profession: “I was very interested in working as little as possible to have as much money as possible. As I speak several languages, I wanted to become an interpreter at the European Parliament.”
Louane, a multi-talented artist
The actress then explained the very particular reason for her dream career choice: “I saw a report when I was 10/12 years old which said that the minimum wage was 5,000 euros. I really wanted to spend my days speaking and be paid 5,000 euros per month to speak”. However, when the journalist asked her if she regretted this aborted career, the person responded straight away. “No, I don’t particularly regret not to translate policies”, she joked. And for good reason, Louane Emera has many other talents. We first discovered the artist with her singing hat on the show The Voice. Coached by Louis Bertignac, she managed to reach the semi-finals before becoming known with her first album. Room 12, in 2015, and his famous hit, Day 1. Despite a very difficult period during which she became an orphan, the young woman continued her professional rise. Three other albums followed – Louane in 2017, Joy of life in 2020 and Feelings in 2022. In the meantime, she revealed herself in the cinema in 2014 with the film The Aries family alongside Karine Viard and François Damiens. Since then, his filmography has continued to grow. But at the same time, it was his personal life that was especially transformed. She became the mother of little Esmée in March 2020. In the show 50′ inside on September 30, 2023, she spoke about this role which had turned her life upside down: “What’s crazy is how much the sense of priorities changes. There is nothing that matters as much as her in my life today“.
