Louis Aliot: “Eric Zemmour cannot play on all fronts”

The mayor of Perpignan and support of Marine Le Pen, Louis Aliot was the guest of La Matinale on CNEWS, this Tuesday, April 26. Asked about “the alliance of all rights” proposed by Eric Zemmour, he felt that the Reconquest candidate lacked “coherence”.

“He can’t play it all. You have to be consistent, modest and have a bit of humility, which Éric Zemmour lacks,” castigated Louis Aliot on Tuesday.

The mayor of Perpignan indeed criticizes the leader of the Reconquête party for his remarks on Sunday evening, shortly after the publication of the results of the second round of the presidential election, “this is the eighth time that defeat has struck the name of Le Pen” , he then declared before proposing the union of a “national bloc” for the legislative elections.

Statements that the RN spokesman did not hesitate to describe as incoherent, and to add that “if the name of Le Pen bothers him, he will have to get rid of a Le Pen that he wanted, in this case Marion”.

The RN spokesperson, Laure Lavalette, had considered earlier in the week this desire for a “union of the rights” as an alliance “small arm”.

For the time being, no agreement is envisaged for the party which must meet this Tuesday for a nomination committee and choose by the end of the week the candidates who are running in the 577 constituencies.
