Louis Boyard, head to clash

The LFI deputy, taken to task by Cyril Hanouna, announced the filing of a complaint against the host. The blows of brilliance, he likes that.

Lregulars of the Palais-Bourbon may have noticed a clothing detail during the press conference organized this November 14 at the start of the afternoon by Louis Boyard. The young (22) LFI deputy wanted to give a little shine to the announcement of the filing of a complaint against Cyril Hanouna, the presenter of the program Do not touch My TV who, last Thursday, copiously insulted him – “Shut your mouth”, “jester”, among other pleasantries.

This detail is Louis Boyard’s jacket. The young man does not seem to like this kind of clothing very much, including within the National Assembly. We have often seen him, in a sweater, slumped on his desk in the hemicycle, to the point that the quaestors of the Assembly wanted to specify in the internal regulations that a decent posture was required. They couldn’t follow through with their idea, contenting themselves with reminding people that wearing a jacket was recommended.

Louis Boyard had often stood out for his taste for clash, as we now say to evoke the blows of brilliance. Thursday, therefore, he got angry with Cyril Hanouna, who accused him of criticizing Vincent Bolloré, owner of C8, the channel which broadcasts TPMP. Hanouna accused him in particular of “spitting in the hand” which feeds him, since Boyard intervened until 2019 in his program, a function which brings in between 500 and 1,000 euros per evening (for passing columnists).

He dreams of becoming a lawyer

During the incident, Boyard did not have cold feet, standing up to the quarry of columnists heated by Hanouna. It’s not his type. The young man, admirer of Robespierre and Saint-Just, likes to bite the yellow line. In 2021, he told the C8 show that he had sold drugs when he was “in trouble”, without anyone knowing what this qualification corresponds to.

During the election for the presidency of the National Assembly, he also stood out by refusing to shake hands with deputy RN Philippe Ballard. “It was not calculated. I did there what they hate the most: that we bring them back to what they really are. A party of neofascists. Their program is dangerous, it is a poison. We have to remember that,” he explained to Release. Since then, in the corridors of the Palais-Bourbon, he has ensured that he looks away when he meets an elected RN…

Before TPMPBoyard officiated in the RMC program The Big Mouths, which, as its name suggests, gives voice to those who do not have their tongue in their pocket. That’s good, Boyard dreamed, and still dreams, of becoming a lawyer. He knows how to get attention. The young man, who was first noticed by leading the protest against the presence of asbestos in his high school in Val-de-Marne, in Villeuve-le-Roi, does not hesitate to attack the powerful , as if it were a guarantee of buzz. In February 2019, the student unionist of the UNL (National Union of High School Students) took part in the Yellow Vests demonstrations in Paris. During a scuffle with the police, he was injured in the foot. Boyard feeds his Twitter account with photos where we see his swaddled foot. He was the victim of an LBD shot, he says, and must go to the hospital.

Christophe Castaner, the Minister of the Interior, refutes this accusation and accuses Boyard of exaggerating his injury. The trade unionist responds by evoking, still on Twitter, the “stupidity” of Castaner. Already, Boyard announces that he will give a press conference on leaving the hospital. It was not necessary to let the incident pass without a little sparkle.
