This Saturday, June 27, 2022, Louis Laforge announced that he had overcome cancer: “It was a year ago, August 27, 2021 at the Pompidou Hospital: a kidney, a ureter canal, a piece of small intestine and colon and above all less cancer. 12 months later , still some pain, still a bit of fatigue… but so happy to be alive!”, he wrote in the caption of a shocking photo, on which we can see him lying in a hospital bed, with IVs in his arm.
Faced with such an announcement, many of his fans gave him their support, like his colleague, Damien Thevenot. The journalist took the opportunity to thank the nursing staff: “A big THANK YOU to all the health professionals who do a wonderful job despite very precarious conditions. Who is Louis Laforge?
Born in 1968, Louis Laforge took his first steps on television in 1991 with the first morning edition of TF1. Until 1994, he will collaborate with France 3 and will begin the following year and this, for three years, to present the JT of the regional editions. In 1998, he replaced Laurent Bignolas for weekend editions. Since 2005, he has been the presenter of the program Des Racines et des Ailes.
