LOVE, free game of the week on EGS – Gamosaurus

For the week of January 18 to 25, a new game is taking center stage on the Epic Games Store. Developed by Fred Wood, the EGS allows you to discover LOVE, a platformer with a retro aesthetic. The challenge will not always be easy to take on, but the simplicity of the title makes it very addictive.

Made up of 16 levels, the platform game focuses on the rigor it imposes without ever being unfair to the player. To ensure that everyone can progress at their own pace, it’s up to the player to define their own checkpoints. You must therefore know yourself well enough to know where and when to set your limits. An “Unlimited” mode also allows you to go through the levels without suffering from difficulty. But for those looking for a real challenge, other modes are available.

For speed aficionados, a “Speedrun” mode allows you to compete against other players. In the same tone, but even more robust, the “YOLO” mode only offers one life. It is also possible to discover 7 levels revisited in the “Remix” mode, or 3 levels of LOVE 2: kuso. The possibilities are very numerous in this game, even if the lifespan is a little short. We will then have to turn to the two sequels of the title to find new challenges.
