Love Island – hot flirts and true love: the fourth season of the dome show will be shown from the end of August

"Love Island" returns at the end of August: Singles have four weeks in a villa on Mallorca to find the right partner.

"Love Island – hot flirts and true love" is starting a new round: RTLzwei will show the first episode of the fourth season of its dating show on August 31, 2020 (8:15 pm). After that, the format will always be broadcast Monday to Friday and Sunday at 10:15 p.m. Single men and women spend four weeks looking for the right partner. To do this, they move into a villa on Mallorca and get together to form couples. In the end, at best, they walk out of the show as a couple. The winning couple can look forward to 50,000 euros in the final (September 28).

British original has been canceled

Moderator Jana Ina Zarrella (43) will again lead through the show. She is curious "which singles will find each other and fall in love with each other. But especially who has what it takes to be a couple," explains Zarrella. In the interactive "Love Island" app, viewers will again be able to actively shape the course of the show through their voting and ultimately decide who will win the show. Most recently, Sidney Wolf and Vivien Michalla had won the third season, but the couple separated shortly after the broadcast. For runner-up Yasin Cilingir and Samira Berkane, however, the show ended with a happy ending, the two are currently expecting offspring.

The British original "Love Island", produced by ITV Studios for ITV, has been canceled this year. A production in Mallorca is not possible due to Corona travel restrictions and relocation to Great Britain is also out of the question, it was announced in May. In the UK, the format was traditionally seen in early June.
